On Monday, former President Donald Trump released a letter from his physician that praised his health, calling it "excellent" and saying that he's lost weight. Trump is 77.
"I am pleased to report that President Trump's overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range, and his cognitive exams were exceptional," a letter signed by Dr. Bruce Aronwald of Morristown, NJ, said.
Trump shared the letter in a post to his social media platform on Truth Social as President Joe Biden turned 81.
"Cardiovascular studies are all normal, and cancer screening tests are all negative. President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity while maintaining a rigorous schedule," the letter added.
Trump maintains that he is healthy. In Aronwald's letter, he said to have done "several comprehensive examinations" of Trump since he left office, with the most recent taking place on Sept. 13.
The weight, which is self-disclosed, would be 30 pounds lighter than what was disclosed in his last White House physical.
