Former President Donald Trump went from ordering to taking orders on Sunday when he got behind the counter of a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania.

The former president swapped his suit jacket for an apron at the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Saturday when he worked the drive-thru and scooped fries, working for a short time at the Golden Arches.

The move from Trump comes after weeks of his comments mocking Vice President Kamala Harris, who boasted about her past experience working at McDonald’s. On Friday, he shared his intentions to work at the restaurant while also claiming that Harris lied about her experiences working at one of the chain’s locations.

“I’m going because she lied,” Trump said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

He was then asked by co-host Brian Kilmeade if he thought Harris “ever worked in McDonald’s,” to which Trump shared he didn’t.

“I know she didn’t. We checked it out,” Trump said. “They said she never worked here. She even picked the store. We went to the manager. The manager’s been there forever. ‘You remember her. No, she never worked here.’”

While working on Sunday, Trump seemed to double down on these comments, saying, “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala.”

A campaign spokesperson for Harris’s campaign responded to Trump’s appearance at the restaurant in a post on X.

“Trump is nothing more than a sock pocket for billionaires when it comes to the policies that matter for working people’s bank accounts,” Joseph Costello posted on X.

Trump joked with reporters and restaurant goers while working behind the counter. When asked what his favorite thing to eat from McDonald’s was, he couldn’t decide.

“I like it all. I like every ounce of it, everything,” Trump said. “But I do like the french fries. Where I’ll be working.”

Trump was also asked what he had to say to Harris being that Sunday is her birthday. The former president responded saying he would maybe get her some flowers, but said to the cameras "Happy Birthday Kamala."
