A woman and her 9-year-old son from Cortland, New York, were going through the checkpoint when the X-ray alerted agents of something inside the boy’s Star Wars-themed toy.

Agents noticed the back of the bear had likely been re-stitched. When they opened it up, they found what appear to be two butter knives inside.

The mother told authorities it was a comfort toy for her son.

Officials say she will likely face federal civil offenses for the security violation.
