A Russian invasion of Ukraine appears to be imminent, if not already underway, with Russian President Vladimir Putin ordering forces into separatist regions of eastern Ukraine.
A vaguely worded decree signed by Putin does not say if troops are on the move, and it casts the order as an effort to "maintain peace."
Former Sec. of State Mike Pompeo appearing on the Sean Hannity Show Monday afternoon, reacted to the days events, saying that Putin was rewriting history.
The United States and the European Union responded by saying they would impose sanctions.
