Rep. Estes (R-Kansas) issued the following statement after President Biden's address to the nation on Thursday night:
"Joe Biden has failed as a president," said Rep. Estes. "Rather than own up to his administration’s failures and recognize the real struggles Americans are facing, he doubled down on slandering anyone who dares to support his political opponents. While Democrats look to scapegoat hardworking Americans for the results of their destructive policies, Republicans remain united behind an agenda to make America strong again – that includes inflation relief, abundant energy, crime control, securing the border, and ending wasteful government spending, among many other items."
Ron Estes, one of only a handful of engineers in Congress, worked in the aerospace, energy and manufacturing sectors before representing Kansas’ 4th Congressional District since 2017. He is a fifth-generation Kansan, former state treasurer, and serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Economic Committee.
