VIDEO: Joe Biden, at the Lincoln Memorial, calls for unity during 'Celebrating America' special

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Joe Biden spoke from the Lincoln Memorial during Wednesday night's "Celebrating America" inaugural special, invoking another man who famously spoke at that spot in 1963: Martin Luther King, Jr.

"There are moments in our history when more is asked of us as Americans," Biden said. "We are in one of those moments now."

Biden cited the coronavirus pandemic, climate change and racial inequality, asking, "Are we up to it? Will we meet the moment like our forebears have?"

His answer? "I believe we must and I believe we will."
