First came the “I do’s.”
Then came the sound of “Play ball” Sunday as USAA & the San Diego Padres hosted a “Wedding of a Lifetime” for local San Diego military couple, Desiree Ruby and Matthew Seals, at Petco Park.
The couple celebrated their marriage on Western Metal Rooftop building inside the stadium with nearly 100 of their closest friends and family in an all-expenses-paid ceremony and reception, after winning the wedding sweepstakes.
Seals is an Army soldier indirect fire infantryman with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 185th Infantry Regiment, and Ruby is a Marine Corps radio chief with 9th Communications Battalion. Seals is also a Marine Corps veteran who served as a motorman.

The celebration was followed by the San Diego Padres playing against the Atlanta Braves. The Braves downed the Padres 4-3.
