13th-ranked McPherson won on the road at Sterling 21-1; the Bulldogs improved to 33-9 on the season with their fourth straight win.
22nd-ranked Tabor won at home, defeating Bethany 13-12; it was the seventh win in a row for the Blue Jays, who improved to 34-9-1. Tabor leads the nation in runs, home runs, RBIs, and extra-base hits. Tabor's head coach is Mark Standiford, the all-time home runs leader at Wichita State, and a graduate of Wichita North high school.
