It was a back and forth matchup Wednesday night at Charles Koch Arena as the Shockers attempted to avenge a loss at Charlotte earlier this season. Several lead changes in the first half led to a slim Shocker halftime lead, 35-34. About halfway through the second half WSU strung together a big 10-0 run to take a pretty significant lead, and managed to hold on for the 74-64 win.

Kenyon Giles led the Shox with 23 points, his 10th 20+ point effort. WSU forced 15 turnovers while only comitting six of their own. The Shockers improve to 14-9, 6-4 in conference play.  Next up for Wichita State, a trip to New Orleans to face Tulane on Sunday.
