The Kansas City Chiefs have added defensive back Mansoor Delane, giving their secondary another developmental option. Delane, who went undrafted, now gets a chance to compete for a roster spot in a crowded defensive backfield.

During his college career, Delane showed versatility and physicality, traits that align well with Kansas City’s defensive schemes. While he faces an uphill battle to make the final roster, his ability to contribute on special teams and provide depth in the secondary could improve his chances.

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to bring in young talent to evaluate throughout the offseason, and Delane will look to make an impression during training camp and preseason action.
