The Wichita Thunder teams continues to dominate this season on the road in Kansas City, after a 7-5 win Thursday at the last-place Mavericks.
It was a scoreless game into the second period, before Wichita erupted for seven goals in a 38-minute span.
The Thunder is 8-0-1 at Kansas City this season; Wichita visits the Mavericks again on Saturday evening.
