
The K-State Men's Basketball Team was in Utah at the Huntsman Center Monday looking to avoid losing a 2nd straight matchup. Back and forth in the first half, K-State outshooting Utah, but the Utes out-rebounding the 'Cats. The Wildcats went to the locker room tied at 32 at the half.
But Utah went hot coming out after halftime. The Wildcats fought back, getting even at 59 all with 3 minutes left. But superior rebounding and making free throws closed the door on K-State's comeback. Final Score Utah 74 KSU 69.
K-State drops to 13-13, 7-8 in the Big 12. The Wildcats were led by junior Brendan Hausen's 17 points. Utah out-rebounded K-State, 51-28, including a 21-6 advantage on offensive rebounds. Next up for the Wildcats, a return to Manhattan to host Arizona St. on Sunday.
