The Kansas State men's basketball team scored a season-high 77 points on Tuesday night in Manhattan -- but it wasn't enough, as the Wildcats lost 80-77 to the 13th-ranked Texas Longhorns in front of a crowd of about 750 people at Bramlage Coliseum.

Starting three true freshmen, K-State trailed by 17 points in the second half, but a comeback got the Wildcats back to within one point. However, the Longhorns went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in the final 20 seconds, not allowing Kansas State to ever get the lead.

K-State (5-16) now has an 11-game losing streak.
