Tyler Reddick is off to a blazing start in the NASCAR Cup Series, capturing his fifth win in just the first nine races of the season on Sunday. Racing for 23XI Racing—the team co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan—Reddick sealed the victory with a dramatic last-lap pass of defending champion Kyle Larson.
The achievement puts Reddick in rare company. The last driver to win five of the first nine races was Dale Earnhardt in 1987, and only a handful of others have matched the feat.
Reddick’s dominant run has helped him build a sizable lead in the standings heading into the revamped playoff format. It’s not just him carrying the momentum—teammate Bubba Wallace and the rest of the 23XI Racing organization are also showing strong form.
After a difficult 2025 campaign, 23XI Racing has quickly turned things around and now looks like one of the top teams in the sport.
