Central Florida is anticipating full capacity for its home games at the dubbed "Bounce House" in Orlando this season, and star cornerback Divaad Wilson is looking forward to playing before energetic, raucous crowds.

"I'm still waiting to feel that Bounce House actually bounce," Wilson told The DA Show on Thursday. "Have your popcorn ready... I just feel like we've taken big strides as a group and as a team, especially from where we were last year... I'm just expecting for me and my teammates to come out with a chip on our shoulder, and to come out and execute really well..."

The Knights, which finished 6-3 in American conference play last season, will once again be led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel. The 6-foot, 200-pound junior completed 60-percent of his passes for 3,570 yards with 32 touchdowns in 10 games, and helped guide the program to a Boca Raton Bowl appearance last December.

UCF's offense was a force to be reckoned with, as the unit ranked fifth in the nation in average points (44.3), second in average total yards (585.6), and second in average passing yards (373.0).

Central Florida will open the 2021 regular season at home against Boise State in primetime on Thursday, Sept. 2. According to the William Hill Sportsbook, the Knights currently have the second-best odds (+450) to win the AAC title.
