
The Wichita Thunder hockey team pulled off a massive comeback win Tuesday night at Intrust Bank Arena downtown, with a 5-4 overtime win over the last-place Rapid City Rush.
Wichita trailed 4-0 early in the second period; the big rally came with three goals in a seven-minute span in the third period.
With back-to-back wins, the Thunder is now tied for first place atop the Western Conference standings in the ECHL. This was the final game of a four-game mini-series vs. the Rush, and Wichita's fourth contest during a 10-game homestand.
