The Wichita Thunder picked up a win on home ice Wednesday night downtown at Intrust Bank Arena, with a 3-2 victory over the Indy Fuel.
Matteo Gennaro had a pair of goals in the win, Wichita's only home game for the week. Goalie Evan Weninger picked up his 13th win of the season, tallying 42 saves.
The win snaps the Thunder's five-game losing streak. Wichita remains in second place in the ECHL's Western Conference; Indy is in second place in the East.
