After a loss to DePaul on Saturday, the Wichita State Men's Basketball Team was looking to get back into the win column. And things were going well right from the tip-off. The Shocks jumped out to the early lead and never trailed in the first half going to the locker room up 41-29.

Wofford managed to get the Shockers' lead down to 6 points at one point in the second half, then after WSU stretched the lead once again they managed to get within 4. But in the end Wichita State won a game where they never relinquished the lead, 84-73.

Big night for Kenyon Giles, Dre Kindell and Will Berg who combined for 56 points and the WSU bench delivered a decisive 40-14 advantage in bench scoring. Giles led scoring with a game-high 22 points, shooting 8-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. Kindell added a new career-high 19 points on 5-of-6 shooting and 8-of-9 from the free throw line.

Wichita State finished the night shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from three-point range, while knocking down 25-of-36 at the free throw line. Wofford shot 40.7 percent overall and 28.0 percent from deep.
