Shamet made three 3-pointers, on his way to 13 points, three assists, and three rebounds; the former Shockers was 5-for-10 shooting.
The Nets have won three games in a row, and are in the #3 spot in the Eastern Conference.
*The Los Angeles Clippers were missing four starters with injuries, but they were able to defeat the visiting Miami Heat 125-118.
Getting a start at forward for L.A. was former Kansas Jayhawk Marcus Morris, who took advantage of his starting time with season-highs of 32 points and six 3-pointers. Morris was 11-for-15 shooting from the floor.
That's a four-game winning streak for the Clippers, who are in the #3 spot in the Western Conference.
*With two former KU players in the starting lineup, the Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers 129-98.
Starting at forward, Andrew Wiggins had 15 points and four rebounds; starting at guard, Kelly Oubre finished with 14 points and three rebounds.
Golden State has won three of its last four games, holding on to the #8 spot in the Western Conference.
