On one of the busiest nights of the year at LAX, two empty passenger buses caught fire near a rideshare lot.
The fire started about 9 p.m. Saturday near the new “LAXit” rideshare pickup area, and within minutes the buses, powered by liquid propane became completely engulfed.
Firefighters were able to quickly squash the blaze, but not before traffic at the airport became a total nightmare.
