Actor Ashton Kutcher is on the witness list to testify today in a murder trial in downtown Los Angeles.
Earlier this month, the trial began for Michael Gargiulo, the so-called "Hollywood Ripper," who allegedly killed three women and stabbed another victim in the Los Angeles and Illinois areas.
Testifying in suspected serial killer's trial, Ashton Kutcher said he was 'freaking out' after learning a woman he planned to take out on a date had been killed - knowing his fingerprints would be on her front door. @KNX1070 (Pool photo by: @GenaroMolina47 ) pic.twitter.com/AEbBQLYqKu

The second alleged victim was 22-year-old Ashley Ellerin in the Hollywood area in 2001. She and Garguilo got to know each other after he did some AC repairs for her and her roommate at their house.
Kutcher was supposed to take Ellerin out for a post-Grammy's party one night and knocked on her door. She didn't respond so he looked into the window and saw what he thought were wine stains on the ground.
They turned out to be blood after Ellerin was allegedly killed by Gargiulo.
He said he freaked out the next day when he realized she had been killed and his fingerprints were on the door.
The third alleged victim, Maria Bruno, was from El Monte.
He was finally caught in Santa Monica after another alleged victim, Michelle Murphy, defended herself as he allegedly plunged a knife into her chest while she was sleeping. He left a trail of blood to an apartment across the way, which is how police found him.
