Actor Danny Masterson is out on more than $3 million bail after being arrested and charged for allegedly raping three women nearly two decades ago.
Masterson has been charged with forcibly raping three women in separate incidents, the Los Angeles County District Attorney announced Wednesday.
Jackie Lacey announced the incidents occurred between 2001 and 2003, according to a press release from the LA DA.
Masterson was charged with three counts of rape by force of fear. He starred in the hit shows "That '70s Show" and Netflix's "The Ranch."
Arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 18. The case is under investigation by the Robbery-Homicide division of the LAPD.
The press release states that Masterson is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman between January and December 2001, according to the complaint. Then, in April 2003 he allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman, and sometime between October and December of that year he is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman who he had invited to his Hollywood Hills home, according to the release.
If convicted as charged, he faces a possible maximum sentence of 45 years to life in state prison.
