The city of Burbank is on the verge of banning e-cigarettes as worries and concerns grow over vaping nationwide.
So far, 11 people have died nationwide with the latest vaping-related illnesses being reported in Georgia and Florida.
If the ordinance gets final approval Burbank would be the largest city in LA County so far to ban flavored nicotine products.
Before the initial vote, the city council got an earful from those both in favor of the ban and dead set against it.
The Burbank city council must return in a month for a second vote before the ban becomes law.
