Californians are growing more and more agitated with the crowds of people headed to beaches amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite a sweeping stay-at-home order, people continue to flock California beaches, causing Santa Monica to close its beaches and parking lots due to the crowds.
Complaints have begun to pop up on social media, with many adhering to social distancing guidelines angered over the hoards of people who continue to flock to the beaches.
"We understand the communities' frustrations with the LARGE amount of people traveling to the Coast today and NOT practicing social distancing," a tweet from the Marin County Sheriff reads. "We are working with the Public Health Officers to address the issue. Please stay at home!"

The city of Calabasas announced on Sunday that it would be closing its city parks, playgrounds, and gathering spaces in compliance with the stay-at-home order.
Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia took to Twitter on Friday to express his concerns as well. "Seriously people, you need to practice social distancing. I am seeing tons of people out there acting like there's no crisis. You could be carrying the virus, have no symptoms, and be responsible for the illness or worse of others," he wrote.
Governor Newsom's stay-at-home order is expected to remain in effect until "further notice" and may change with the everchanging nature of the pandemic. Newsom's executive order is enforceable by law.
