Ontario Church leader Bishop Abel Jimenez of Christian Life Center and his two daughters, Tabitha Jimenez-Medina and Esther Jimenez-Hernandez have died from coronavirus. Additionally, 17 family members have tested positive.
The family doesn't know exactly how they contracted the virus, but they believe someone was in contact with an asymptomatic person and brought the virus home.
The Christian Life Center had been observing all of the mandates from the state, with in-person services and closing its soup kitchen.
Jimenez leaves behind his wife Noemi of 65 years, who is currently in the ICU battling the coronavirus.
A GoFundMe for the family has raised more than $27,400 as of Saturday night.
