WILMINGTON (CNS) - One person was killed and two others wounded today in a shooting in Wilmington.
The gunfire was reported at 3:11 p.m. in the 900 block of Bay View Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One victim died at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital, police said. NBC4 reported that the person who died was a woman in her 20s, and the other victims were a young man and an older woman.
One of the wounded was struck multiple times and was in critical condition, while the other was in stable condition, according to a lieutenant at the LAPD's Harbor Station.
No one was in custody and suspect information was not immediately available.
