A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured today in a hit-and-run crash on a freeway in Lynwood, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 5:35 a.m. on the westbound Glen Anderson (105) Freeway west of the Long Beach (710) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The officer was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. No description was available of the hit-and-run vehicle.
The carpool lane of the westbound 105 Freeway was closed while an investigation was conducted.
