John Altobelli, his wife, Keri and daughter Alyssa, will all be remembered Monday at a public memorial service at Angel Stadium.
The family was killed when the helicopter they were flying in with NBA icon Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and four others, crashed on its way to Bryant's Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.
The service will begin at 4:00 p.m., gates will open at 3:00 p.m., and parking will be free in lots off State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue.
Altobelli, 56, coached at Orange Coast College for nearly 30 years. He and his wife leave behind a teenage daughter andan adult son.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made at GoFundMe or through the Orange Coast College’s Foundation website.
