China is apparently not letting go of its outrage following a tweet by the Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey that supported Hong Kong protestors. But, that only encouraged former NBA player Dennis Rodman to jump into the fray with an offer to Commissioner Adam Silver to help broker better communication.

Wednesday, multiple NBA events were canceled, including an exhibition game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets.

Rodman tweeted a video of himself, wearing a Make America Great Again hat, while holding a photo of himself with Trump, and another photo with Kim Jong Un.

@NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, I know a thing or two about diplomacy between other countries. Book me a flight to Shanghai with you! #AmbassadorRodman #Peacemaker #BasketballDiplomacy pic.twitter.com/8Xo580I18p

The NBA said Monday on its official Chinese social media account that it was "extremely disappointed" by Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey's "inappropriate" tweet about Hong Kong, which "severely hurt the feelings of Chinese fans."
