There is a brush fire burning in Newhall, Calif., Wednesday afternoon.
Several water-drops later, and the threat is over.
Dubbed the "Jake Fire," it's located in the 21500 block of Deputy Jake Drive in Santa Clarita.
The fire is at nine acres, as of Wednesday afternoon.
The LA County Fire Department is "now reporting forward progress stopped fire being held to approximately seven Acres. Evacuation orders being evaluated. Units will remain on-scene approximately 2-4 hours."
LA County Sheriff's Department said in a tweet that Michael McGrath Elementary School students were evacuated to Newhall Elementary School.
Parents whose children attend McGrath Elementary are being asked to pick-up their kids at Newhall Elementary School.
