FBI and an Irvine Police SWAT team raided a home Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation.
It’s said to be connected to an ongoing investigation. The location is in the 5300 block Royale Ave. near Irvine Valley College and the Oak Creek Golf Club.
KNX reporter Craig Fiegener reports FBI agents seem to be focusing on what’s in the garage. They were searching the home after serving an early morning warrant. The homeowner can be seen pointing officers and agents to something inside.
An FBI spokesperson says the raid was done in connection with an on-going investigation but no other details were released as to why the raid was staged.
It's also unclear at this point if any arrests have been made.
