It has been reported Carter has been released from the hospital Thursday.
The Carter Center said in a tweet the former president will undergo physical therapy.
Additionally, his wife and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter felt faint and was admitted overnight for observation and testing, the Carter Center said. She also left the hospital Thursday morning with her husband.

May 13, 2019 "He is recovering comfortably from surgery to repair a broken hip at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia," the Carter Center said. "His surgeon stated that the surgery was successful. His wife, Rosalynn, is with him.
