Several homeless people and a group of homeless advocates say they're outraged as authorities prepare to clear out and clean-up a homeless camp around Echo Park Lake.

A park ranger says the reason the homeless people may be forced out of the area around is because a film crew has a permit to work here this week. He said this is very typical, and that the eviction is not just an action to evict the homeless.

Several of the activists demonstrated outside 13th District Councilman Mitch O'Farrell's office.
