BREAKING: Huntington Harbour Shut Down After 60,000 Gallon Sewage Spill

Huntington Harbour was shut down Thursday after a blocked sewer main caused a 60,000 sewage spill to pour into the waterway.

According to the Orange County Health Care Agency, the blockage happened in the city of Stanton.

The closure includes Anaheim Bay, Sunset Aquatic Marina, Portofino Cove, Anderson Street Mari, and Mother's Beach.

So far, there are no reports of how long the area will be closed, but swimmers, surfers and paddles boarders are not allowed in the waters until testing concludes the water is safe.
