"Mobile Vote Centers" are being rolled out all over L.A. County to bring the ballot box to the voter ahead of next week’s presidential primary.
It’s kind of a voting pop-up if you will and those who took advantage of the one at downtown LA’s Grand Park seemed to have a positive experience.
Grand Park Director Julia Diamond was excited to host it. It seemed to go off without much of a hitch too. I did notice one of the I-pads they were using to check people in got a little too hot sitting in the sun, but it cooled down and was back up and running after chilling in the shade for a bit.
