At the start of July, Lyft launched a campaign to support immigrants rights groups.
Launching their campaign with several videos, the "America is an idea, not a Geography" celebrates stories of diversity and asks the question of what it means to be American.
The company offers passengers the option to "round up" fares to donate to RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services), and for the month of July, Lyft will match donations up to $50,000.
Additionally, the company will be donating $150,000 in ride credits to support immigration organizations — including groups connected to the Lyft drivers featured in the documentary series.
