A 22-year-old man in northern India apparently hated his birthday gift of a brand new BMW 3-series so much, that he ran the car into a local canal.
The Times of India reports that the man known only as "Akash" wanted a Jaguar. "He threw away his BMW in a fit of anger. His family had sold the Innova they had received from his in-laws to buy him the BMW," said Mukesh Kumar, SHO, Chhachhrauli police station.
Sources say after he pushed the car into the canal he made a video of the incident and sent it to his parents.

August 10, 2019 Akash's father swears the car fell into the canal, as his son was swerving to avoid an antelope in the road.
"We have two cars, a BMW and a Swift. My son never demanded a Jaguar car," Sanjeev Kumar said.
