VIDEO: Man Apologizes for Wife's Racist Outburst Captured on Video

The husband of a woman caught on video berating a woman and telling her to "go back to her country" has apologized on behalf of his wife, adding that the incident was totally out of character for her.

"I couldn't believe it," Robert Harrian told The Arizona Republic. "What she said was reprehensible ... I'm very, very sorry."The video was shared on Facebook by Greg Conn, who was in the Phoenix store and witnessed in the exchange.

The video shows Tamara Harrian pointing her finger and yelling at a customer, identified as Karina Rodriguez. 

Harrian tells Rodriguez she should leave the story and "go back to your country."

Toward the end of the video Harrian can be seen grabbing Rodriguez's arm, at which point she then slaps Harrian across the face.

Harrian is seen as she leaves the store.
