As of Monday, there have been five confirmed cases of coronavirus in the U.S.

On Sunday, LA County saw its first confirmed case of the coronavirus.

The person was a returning traveler from Wuhan in China, according to the LA County Department of Public Health.

Also on Sunday, there was another confirmed U.S. case in Arizona.

The CDC had some recommendations for the public.

"While the immediate risk of this new virus to the American public is believed to be low at this time, everyone can do their part to help us respond to this emerging public health threat," the CDC wrote on its website.

"For everyone: It’s currently flu and respiratory disease season and CDC recommends getting vaccinated, taking everyday preventive actions to stop the spread of germs, and taking flu antivirals if prescribed."
