Murder Suspect Accused of Shooting at Police in Wild Car Chase in Vernon Dies

The murder suspect accused of shooting a gun at police during a wild car chase in Vernon has died. 

Dylan Lindsay had been injured by officers' bullets during the chaos last week, and he had also pulled the gun on himself.

Life-saving measures were taken and  Lindsay has been in the hospital since.

Officers were chasing Lindsay because he was suspected of killing a co-owner at a Downey liquor store.

Forty-four-year-old Gurpreet Singh. the co-owner of a liquor store in Downey, who was shot and killed by a suspected gunman last week, was remembered Sunday night by friends and family at his funeral in Hollywood.

On Thursday, the police released surveillance video of a gunman during a possible attempted robbery. 

The attempted robbery was at the ASL Liquor in Downey.

Then Friday night, a suspect led police through a car chase that started in Downey and ended in a shootout in Vernon.
