A series of interactive maps have made getting valuable information amid the coronavirus outbreak a lot easier.

The Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) at Pepperdine University's School of Public Policy  has developed the real-times maps to help residents of Los Angeles and Orange counties get vital news as the spread of COVID-19 continues across Southern California.

The maps are available in both English and Spanish (both included below) and list locations of temporary shelter beds, handwashing stations, Grab and Go food centers and older adults nutrition programs.

Users can search for their home address, zoom in for details, click on symbols, and then check the Legend (in the upper right) for more information.

The maps will update as more information becomes available and as facilities reopen.

In addition, the maps also provide up-to-date information on the amount of confirmed COVID-19 in every county in California, across the country and globally.

As of Saturday, there were 292 confirmed cases in Los Angeles County, with 1283 throughout the entire state of California.

The HSAC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to catalyze and support a multi-jurisdictional and comprehensive approach to preparedness, security, and resiliency in the greater Los Angeles region.
