(KNX 1070) - LAPD has confirmed to KNX 1070 that the Shadow Ranch Park shooting in West Hills is not gang-related.
Two men died in a shooting at the park at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday night in the 22600 block of Vanowen street.
One victim died at the scene while the other died at the hospital.
Detectives say the victims, both men, knew each other.
They’re in their 20s and 30s— both from San Fernando Valley. Police said they believe the victims and the suspect are acquaintances and said they have information on a possible suspect.
The LAPD detective tells reporter Craig Fiegener they’re searching for shooter— who left the scene in a car.
