A cold front expected to hit California this week will bring rain and thunderstorms across the state.
The rain will begin on Sunday and pick up throughout the week, despite storms like this usually being reserved for the winter.
The storm is expected to bring snow, rain, and thunderstorms to parts of Northern and Central California. Southern California will see light rain showers beginning on Sunday with downpours appearing Sunday night and carrying into Monday.
Monday morning downpours could make for a slippery commute, possibly triggering mud slides, rock slides, and debris flows.
