Travelers landing at LAX this morning have quite a story to tell after their United Flight out of New York last night was forced to return to Newark shortly after takeoff because flames shot from an engine.
Passenger Gabby Guzy posted a dramatic video online of the flames and talked with ABC-7 TV after finally arriving here on a different plane:
United says the flight landed normally back at Newark after the fire and the 168 passengers were swiftly put on another plane.
There were no injuries and no immediate word on the mechanical problems with the Boeing 757.
