Budweiser is making sure that step-dads aren't forgotten this Father's Day with a new short video ad.
The brand says it "wants to shine an unexpected light on fatherhood” by "toasting step-fathers who love their stepchildren like their own.”
The beer company's newest commercial highlights three pairs of step-fathers and their step-kids, all discussing their roads to developing relationships. Often difficult at the start, all the stories, obviously, end with the light at the end of the tunnel.
In the video, the step-kids surprised their stepdads by officially removing "step" from their title and asking to be legally adopted.
Budweiser will donate $1 to the Step Family Foundation for every comment made about this new campaign.
