A kitten adoption pop-up lounge opens this weekend in downtown Los Angeles.
Complete with what looks like cotton candy clouds hanging overhead, Tiny Beans Kitten Lounge offers a colorful space for potential kitty parents to cuddle up and play with the adorable fur babies.
The pop-up is an offshoot of the Cat Café Lounge in West Los Angeles. Kristi Labrenz, founder of the CatCafe Lounge in West LA which opened the pop-up, says "at the end of the day we were like what is more magical than a room full of kittens?"
"It's a dream to live and be in that sort of environment," she said.
"There's a lot of kittens during kitten season there are about 10,000 that purge on the city shelters," she said.
They work with rescue groups that raise the kittens until they’re of adoptable age and then they step in with the hope of saving as many as possible. She says the $25 donation they ask for goes to a good cause.
