VIDEO: Police Nab Woman who was Allegedly Attempting to Kidnap 2 Boys

The LAPD napped the suspect trying to kidnap two young boys downtown this week.

Her name is Maralyn Ramos and she was arrested in the area of Agatha and San Pedro Street.

UPDATE: The suspect has been identified as Maralyn Ramos and arrested in the area of Agatha and San Pedro Street.She was booked for 207(A) PC-Kidnapping and her bail is $100,000. We appreciate the community’s help in spreading the word so quickly.

The LAPD was asking for the public's help to find the woman.

Officer Mike Lopez says she allegedly attempted to walk away with a 4-year-old boy out of the McDonald's on Olympic Boulevard on May 14 at 3:15 pm:

"She was stopped by a witness that saw as she was attempting to put the little boy inside the vehicle," he said.

The suspect is described as a 25-30-years old, female Hispanic or Black, black hair, unknown color eyes, standing at 5 foot 4 inches tall, and weighing approximately 115 pounds.

She has a possible scar/birthmark on forehead, an unknown tattoo above left breast and an unknown tattoo on the upper back and left shoulder.
