Observing Passover in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic means virtual Seders.
There will be a star-studded virtual Passover Seder Saturday at 5 p.m. Saturday to benefit the CDC Foundation’s Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund.

Among those slated to gather around the digital table to share stories, songs and support for the CDC Foundation’s Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund are Bette Midler, Jason Alexander and Sarah Silverman.
The event is being organized by Story Course, a dinner theater company that has done in-person Passover inspired experiences for several years.
While it’s free to watch, co-founder Adam Kantor says donations will be encouraged. With so many families unable to be together he says they decided to take what they’ve done in the past and adapt it.
Kantor says "so many families can't be with each other so we thought 'why don't we take what we've done in the past and adapt it?'"
He says this Seder won’t be a by-the-book rendering.
"It's really going to be an original, fun, hopefully moving experience all inspired by the original story of Exodus," he said.
Kantor says they’ve already raised more than $10,000 for the fund since launching their website.
