House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff announced via twitter that the unnamed intelligence official aka the "whistleblower," who filed what the inspector general called an "urgent" and "credible" complaint against President Donald Trump, has requested a meeting.
The announcment comes just minutes following Trump's announcment that he will release unredacted copies of a transcript of his call with the president of Ukraine.
