Three Black women say they were accosted while jogging in El Segundo Sunday and captured the incident on cell phone video.
Identified by ABC7 only as Brittany, Jessyka and Raquel, the women were out for a run at Dockweiler State Beach when the woman in the video began screaming racist epithets at them, and then called the police.
The women say they initially came into contact with the woman at the start of their run, but began recording her after they heard her call them racial slurs.

After being confronted, the woman then calls the police and accuses the women of hitting her, and says she was attacked from behind. "You guys are so violent. You Africans are so (expletive) violent," the woman later said. "You're an African, right? I'm trying to get a description."
The woman goes on to tell police that her "environment has been harmed by this African black person." One of the women at the receiving end of the rant said she filed a report with LAPD.
According to ABC7, El Segundo police told the woman in the video to reach out to LAPD, after she called El Segundo Police. "I didn't think this would ever happen in Los Angeles," Brittany said. "I haven't experienced it. It was a very sobering experience. It just reminded us, as we see everything happening around us, this can happen in our backyard."
In July, an LA Superior Court judge issued an arrest warrant for Lena Hernandez amid an incident in 2019. Hernandez, 54, a retired social worker from Long Beach, was seen in a now-viral video screaming racist epithets at several people in a park in Torrance several weeks ago.
Kayceelyn Salminoa told KTLA that she recognized Hernandez as the woman who attacked her in a public restroom last October.
"That's a voice you don't forget. That's a face you don't forget," Salminoa said in an interview. "Especially what she had done to me."
El after one of its employees was charged with disorderly conduct as a result of using racial slurs to actress and philanthropist Cacilie Hughes.
The New York Times reported that Carmella Davano called the actress a "monkey" and a "shining monkey" during an incident at Houston's George Bush International Airport in February.
According to the Times, it all began with a refund code and escalated from there.
